Biographical Information

Shen-Ping Yu played in the CPBL and TML for 7 years.

Yu represented Taiwan in the 1986 World Junior Championship and 1990 Haarlemse Honkbalweek. The China Times Eagles signed him in 1993, and he hit .153/.194/.186 in 32 games. As their third catcher, Yu didn't get many chances and he only played 52 games combined in the next four seasons. He went to the Chianan Luka when they were founded in 1998, and he hit .231/.271/.354 in 32 games. His batting line was .222/.250/.296 in 1999, then he announced his retirement.

Overall, Yu had hit .203/.244/.291 with 46 hits in 7 seasons in the CPBL and TML.
