Biographical Information[edit]
Shawn Summe has been a college coach.
Summe was assistant coach at Manchester College, guided Judson College in 2001-2002 (setting a school record with 21 wins the latter year), was assistant at the Savannah College of Art and Design from 2003-2009 then became head coach of Ave Maria University. He remained there through 2014 then became athletic director of Avila University. After the passing of head coach Darryl Cronk, Summe took over the reins of Avila's baseball team for 2022, remaining one season.
