Biographical Information[edit]

Shan-Ying Huang pitched in the CPBL for 4 years.

Huang represented Taiwan in the 1988 World Junior Championship. The Jungo Bears selected him in the first round of the 1993 CPBL Draft, and he was 1-2 with a 7.82 ERA in his first season. He then had a 5.96 ERA in 20 games in 1995, and his ERA was 6.55 in 31 games in 1996. He recorded a 8.10 ERA in 18 games in 1997, and the Sinon Bulls (the Jungo Bears had changed their name) released him. Huang then announced his retirement, and he became the coach of the National Chiao Tung University from 2007 to 2020.

Overall, Huang was 2-5 with a 6.89 ERA, struck out 70 and pitched 196 innings in 4 seasons in the CPBL.
