Biographical Information

Seung-min An pitched in the KBO for 4 years.

An was drafted by the Hanwha Eagles in the third round of the 2010 KBO draft, and he was 4-4 with a 5.43 in his first season. He then went 7-9 with a 5.89 ERA in 2011, and he led the league with 22 homers allowed. An recorded 16 saves with a 3-7 record and a 4.75 ERA in 2012, and he was 7th in saves (between Jung Bong and Hyang-nam Choi) and 8th in appearances (between Jung-jin Park and Won-sang Yoo). He had a 7.49 ERA in 18 games in 2013, and he missed then next two seasons due to military service. An stayed in the minors for the entire 2015 season, and he was involved in a gambling scandal in 2016. He was suspended for 30 games, and his professional career ended after the Eagles released him.

Overall, An was 17-24 with a 5.70 ERA, struck out 183 and pitched 307 2/3 innings in 4 seasons in the KBO.
