Biographical Information

Sergey Vorotilin has played for the Russian national team.

Vorotilin went 4 for 12 with two doubles, a walk, two runs and 4 RBI as the first baseman for MGPU SYOS in the 2008 European Cup, leading his team in slugging. In the 2008 European Championship Qualifiers, he was 0 for 4 as the backup 1B for Russia. He was on Russia's roster for the 2011 European Championship Qualifiers but did not play. He went 0 for 5 with three whiffs as Russia's backup catcher in the 2012 European Championship (playing behind Nikita Monakhov).
