Biographical Information

Sebastián Perrone has pitched in the minors and for the Venezuelan national team.

Perrone signed with the New York Yankees. He was 4-0 with a 1.55 ERA, .97 WHIP and 38 K in 29 IP for a fine pro debut with the 2021 DSL Yankees 1, though he was old for the level at age 21. He came stateside in '22 and fell to 3-2, 5.70 with two saves in 18 games for the FCL Yankees. He walked 24 in 23 2/3 IP and had a 2.24 WHIP.

The next summer, he was with Venezuela for the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games. In three appearances for the Bronze Medal winners, he allowed two hits, two walks and one unearned run in three innings, fanning three; he also pinch-ran once and scored a run. Venezuela won a spot in the 2023 Pan American Games.
