Biographical Information[edit]

Righthanded pitcher Sean Albury was once considered one of the bright new hopes for Bahamian baseball. He stood out as a closer at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (where fellow Bahamians Gregory Burrows Jr. and Geron Sands had previously played). The Milwaukee Brewers selected him in the 31st round of the 2011 amateur draft, and he recorded a 0.90 ERA in 20 innings pitched with Helena of the Pioneer League. He struck out 27, walked just 5, and posted 6 saves in his 16 appearances. He underwent Tommy John surgery after the season. He returned to Helena in 2013, posting a 2.00 ERA in 14 appearances, but it wasn't enough to salvage his career. It ended after that season.
