Biographical Information[edit]

Scott Pickler has been a college coach. He is the father of Jeff Pickler, who once served as his assistant.

Scott played second base during his collegiate playing career. He was 123-36 as a coach at Savanna High School and Loara High School. In 1985 he became head coach of Cypress College and led the Chargers to five state championships before retiring atfer the 2016 season. His 981 wins places him second behind Don Sneddon as the CCCAA's all-time winningest coach. He coached over a dozen future major leaguers at Cypress. Pickler has also been manager of the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox since 1998 and has led them to six Cape Cod League titles tying Bill Livesey for most CCBL titles for a manager.
