Biographical Information[edit]

Scott Loiseau has been a college coach and minor league infielder.

Loiseau finished first in school history in runs while at Franklin Pierce University and won All-Conference honors. He also played hockey there. He remained as an assistant coach in 2003. In 2004-2005, he was assistant coach at the College of the Holy Cross. In 2005, he hit .175/.199/.175 as a utility infielder for the Worcester Tornadoes. He was 8 for 43 with a double, triple, four walks and 14 whiffs for the 2006 Tornadoes to end his pro career.

From 2006-2008, he was assistant coach for the Franklin Pierce baseball team. He also was head coach of the FPU hockey team in 2007-2008 and was an assistant coach for the 2007 Brewster Whitecaps. In 2009, he was appointed head coach of the Southern New Hampshire University. He took a team that had won 7 games in 2008 and improved their win total to 14 in 2009, 18 in 2010 and a school-record 25 in 2011. 2012 was even better when the team soared to a 42-13 record and a trip to the 2012 Division II College World Series. They also went to the 2018 Division II College World Series, 2021 Division II College World Series, 2022 Division II College World Series and 2023 Division II College World Series. He went 480-209-2 and set a school record for career wins. Loiseau became an assistant coach at Penn State University in 2024. After one season there he became head coach at University of Dayton for 2025.
