Biographical Information[edit]

Scott Khoury played in the minor leagues from 1985-1989, peaking at AA. He hit double-digit homers every season except his last, peaking with 20 in 1988. He moved to the Dutch Hoofdklasse in 1990, playing for Neptunus and became a star. He led the league in average (.466), home runs (19), RBI (71, a record for the 20th Century Hoofdklasse, 12 more than anyone else) and hits (83, also a record, broken 8 years later by Dirk van 't Klooster). He won the 4th Triple Crown in league history, following Boudewijn Maat, Hamilton Richardson and Hudson John. In 1991, he hit 16 homers, tying Mike Crouwel for the Hoofdklasse lead.
