Scott Franzke
- Born March 6, 1972 in Dallas, TX USA
Scott Franzke is currently an announcer for the Philadelphia Phillies. He served as host for pre-game and post-game shows for the Texas Rangers in 1997-1998 and 2002-2005. He also did play-by-play for the Kane County Cougars from 1999 to 2001 and covered the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia.
Franzke came to the Phillies in 2006, hosting pre-game and post-game shows and doing minimal play-by-play on radio for two seasons. For the Phils' world championship season of 2008, he called entire games on radio except for 4th innings, which were done by Harry Kalas. Since Kalas's death in 2009, Franzke has been the Phils' lone play-by-play radio announcer.
