Scott Baker

Biographical Information[edit]

Scott Baker has been a college coach.

A catcher in college, Baker fell one game shy of the Division III College World Series in 1981. He coached at Mainland Regional High School in 1984-1985 then was assistant coach at Georgia Southern University from 1986-2000. The school went to the 1990 College World Series. He was recruiting coordinator for 13 of his 15 years at Georgia Southern. He became head coach of the University of the South in 2001. After 14 years, Baker resigned to become head coach at Richard Stockton College in 2015, a role he held through 2018.
