Scorecard

From BR Bullpen

A scorecard sold by the Montreal Expos for games against the New York Mets, 1978

A scorecard is a sheet of paper used for keeping score. The scorecard is marked with a grid, with the batting order occupying the vertical axis, and the innings the horizontal axis. The result of each at-bat is inscribed by the person keeping score at the intersection of the appropriate batter and inning.

Scorecards are sold at ballparks and usually include a pre-printed grid and a list of the two teams' rosters and uniform numbers. They may be part of a souvenir program or sold separately.
