Biographical Information[edit]

Sandi Santiago pitched in the minor leagues and the CPBL.

Santiago began his professional career with the New York Yankees, and he was 1-1 with four saves and a 1.82 ERA for the GCL Yankees in 1990. He went 2-1 with a save and a 3.38 ERA for the Oneonta Yankees in 1991, and he had a 5.18 ERA in 23 relief outings in 1992 (1-2, Sv). Santiago had a 6.42 ERA in 29 games for the Greensboro Hornets in 1993, and he went 2-3 with a 5.90 ERA for the San Bernardino Spirit in 1994. He had a 3.90 ERA in 34 games for the Tampa Yankees in 1995, but his ERA rose to 5.11 in 1996. The Chinatrust Whales signed him in 1998, but Santiago’s ERA was 4.82 in 11 games. He was released in the middle of the season, then he went to the Albany-Colonie Diamond Dogs and had a 4.79 ERA in 20 games there.
