Biographical Information

Outfielder Sanders Commings was taken by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 37th round of the 2008 amateur draft out of high school, but instead chose to pursue a collegiate and professional career in football. He played for the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs from 2013 to 2014 as a cornerback. He then attempted a professional baseball career, signing with the Atlanta Braves in 2017, but hit just .154/.267/.231 in six games for the Rookie level Danville Braves before being released.
