San Angelo Red Snappers

From BR Bullpen

The San Angelo Red Snappers, named after their manager Earl "Red" Snapp, began play when the West Texas League was revived in 1928. Led by 20 game winner Jubilo Clements, the team posted a 69-47 record and defeated Abilene to win the league title. After the season, manager Snapp left the club, and they became known as the San Angelo Sheep Herders.
