Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Sam Narron, who pitched one game for the Texas Rangers in 2004 shortly after he turned 23 years old, went 15-5 split between two minor league teams in 2008.
Narron was pitching coach of the Auburn Doubledays in 2012-2013, Hagerstown Suns in 2014-2017, and Potomac Nationals in 2018-2019. He was scheduled to be pitching coach of the Harrisburg Senators in 2020 before the season was cancelled due to Covid-19 then did coach Harrisburg in 2021.
He is the nephew of catcher and manager Jerry Narron and John Narron and the grandson of catcher Sam Narron. His grandfather Sam was a catcher with the St. Louis Cardinals.
