Biographical Information

The son of Dick Mills, pitcher Ryan Mills was selected in the first round of the 1998 amateur draft by the Minnesota Twins. He was signed by scout Clair Rierson. He pitched in the minor leagues from 1998 to 2004, peaking at AAA with the Rochester Red Wings in 2003 and 2004. His overall won/loss record was 17-41, including seasons of 3-10, 3-13 and 3-11, and his career ERA was a bloated 5.79.
