Biographical Information[edit]
The son of former player and manager Jim Lefebvre, outfielder Ryan Lefebvre was selected by the Cleveland Indians in the 27th round of the 1993 amateur draft and spent one season in the minors. He went 3 for 20 at the plate with five walks and no extra-base hits for the Watertown Indians, playing in six games. After his playing career ended, he joined the Minnesota Twins as a broadcaster. He has broadcast Kansas City Royals games since 1999.
Lefebvre wrote a book about his struggles with depression titled The Shame of Me, One Man's Journey to Depression and Back
