Biographical Information[edit]
Ryan Jensen pitched four seasons in the majors with a record of 17-12.
A once fairly promising pitching prospect, Jensen started 30 games for the San Francisco Giants in 2002, winning 13 of them. That was the season the Giants reached the World Series, but he did not pitch at all in the postseason. After that season, he appeared in a total of only 15 major league games. He didn't play in the majors at all in 2004. In the minors in 2003, 2004 and 2005, Jensen had ERAs of 5.30, 5.36 and 7.20 respectively.
Through 2009 he is the only major leaguer out of Southern Utah University.
