Pitcher Ryan Hannaman was selected by the San Francisco Giants in the fourth round of the 2000 amateur draft. Playing for the AZL Giants the following year, he went 4-1 in 11 starts and led the Arizona League with a 2.00 ERA. On August 1, 2003, he was dealt to the Baltimore Orioles along with two other players for Sidney Ponson.
