Biographical Information

The son of Chris Chambliss, outfielder Russ Chambliss spent 1997-1999 in the New York Yankees' chain and 1999-2000 in independent leagues. In 63 career games, Chambliss put up a .107/.163/.119 slash line.

Chambliss was a coach at Paramus Catholic High School for several years. He was an assistant coach at State University of New York Maritime College in 2014-2015 (at least). In 2018, Chambliss joined the St. Louis Cardinals organization and was the hitting coach for the Peoria Chiefs in 2018-2019.

As of 2025, Chambliss is associated with Chambliss Grandslam[1] in Paramus, NJ.
