Biographical Information[edit]
Ruperto Zamora played 17 seasons primarily as an outfielder in Cuba, hitting .295/.366/.419 with 1,102 hits and 149 doubles. He fielded .950. Five times, he made the league's top 10 in average. On February 2, 1993-1994, he hit two home runs in one inning. He became manager of Sancti Spiritus in 2011-2012, replacing Lourdes Gourriel Sr..
