Biographical Information

Rui-Sheng Wu played in the CPBL.

Wu was drafted by the Fubon Guardians in the 8th round of the 2016 CPBL Draft, and he hit .293/.350/.424 in the minors in 2017. He debuted on July 6, 2017, and he collected his first career hit against Wei-Cheng Huang. Wu ended up going 1-for-6 with the big club in 2017, and he had a .267/.304/.326 batting line in the minors in 2018. The Guardians then released him, and the Wei Chuan Dragons picked him up. Wu hit .363/.393/.497 in the minors in 2020, and he was 1-for-8 in 2021 in the major league. He spent his entire 2022 season in the minors with a .267/.357/.446 batting line, and he improved to .347/.409/.557 with 5 homers in 2023. He also went 0-for-3 with the big club in '23.
