Rufo Félix
Rufo Félix was an outfielder for the Dominican national team that won the 1948 Amateur World Series, the country's lone championship in the history of the event. When the Dominican League formed in 1951, he had a brief stint with the Leones del Escogido, going 1 for 4 in the regular season but managing 3 runs then hit .250/.250/.500 with two triples and two RBI in the finals, seeing regular action.
