Biographical Information[edit]
Shortstop Roy Whitcraft played minor league baseball from 1913 to 1925, largely in class B level leagues. He also managed between 1918 and 1929. Whitcraft began 1928 as an umpire in the Central League before taking over as manager of Springfield.
