Biographical Information[edit]

On a 74-88 Seattle Mariners ballclub in 1985, Roy Thomas went 7-0, the most wins without a loss ever compiled on a team with a losing record.

In 1989, Thomas played for the St. Lucie Legends of the Senior Professional Baseball Association. He went 5-8 with a 4.57 ERA for the club. In 1990, Thomas played for the Sun City Rays of the SPBA. He pitched in 6 games and was 3-1 with a 0.94 ERA. Thomas was leading the league with 31 strikeouts when the league folded.

There was another major league Roy Thomas many decades earlier: Roy Thomas (1899-1911).
