Biographical Information[edit]
Roy Sims was a college coach.
Sims came to Armstrong State College as its athletic director from 1955-67. He resumed the position from 1977-86. Sims started the college’s baseball program in the late 1950s and served as head coach in 1967, Armstrong’s first as a four-year institution. He also coached the ASC basketball, tennis, golf, and bowling teams and was the athletic director from 1977-1986.
