Rouget Ávalos
Catcher Rouget Ávalos played for the Cuban national team several times.
He was with Cuba for the 1941 Amateur World Series but did not get into a game for the Silver Medalists, backing up Andrés Fleitas. He hit .333 when Cuba won the 1943 Amateur World Series. He was 1 for 15 in the 1944 Amateur World Series, when Cuba won Bronze. He batted .091 when Cuba got the Bronze in the 1946 Central American and Caribbean Games. He hit .270 as Cuba's main backstop when they won the 1952 Amateur World Series.
