Rouen is located in northwestern France, on the Seine River, 65 miles west of Paris. The Rouen Huskies play here. David Gauthier, Aldo Ramelet and Martin Vissac were born here. Lycée Pierre-Corneille is here.
Rouen is the site of the French Baseball Federation's main training facility for young players, the Rouen National Baseball Academy. In 2014, Major League Baseball and the MLBPA provided four covered batting cages to the city, erected at Stade Saint-Exupéry, the main baseball complex used by youth teams in the city, as part of its "Baseball Tomorrow Fund" aimed at developing baseball throughout the world by building adequate facilities.
