Rosemount competes in baseball in Section 1-AAA of the Minnesota State High School League, as one of eleven schools in the Lake Conference. Its colors are blue and gold. The school's fight song is "Go You Irish." Rosemount's team name is officially the Irish but unofficially and usually the "Fighting Irish," in reference to the University of Notre Dame.
