Personal Remembrance[edit]

Ronnie Mahrt was a righthanded pitcher for the 1954 St. Cloud Rox of the Class C Northern League. He was a good pitcher and led the Rox in pitching that year. St. Cloud was part of the New York Giants farm system. Mahrt was from Oakland, California. He played professional baseball before his year at St. Cloud and most likely continued playing pro baseball afterwards. He was an intelligent pitcher with good poise on the mound and control of his pitches.
