Biographical Information[edit]

Second baseman Rondin Johnson played 11 games for the Kansas City Royals in 1986. In the minors from 1980 to 1988, he spent five years with the Omaha Royals.

Rondin was at the University of Washington from 1978 to 1980, at the same time as Rick Anderson, who was there in 1978. The two of them both made their major league debuts in 1986.

Johnson was six years younger than third baseman George Brett on the Royals.
