Biographical Information[edit]
After his playing days, Ron Romanick has been a coach and roving instructor in the Seattle Mariners organization and the Oakland A's minor league pitching coach. He was a coach for the Bellingham Mariners in 1993, Riverside Pilots in 1994, Port City Roosters in 1995, and Tacoma Rainiers in 1998. He was the Mariners' minor league pitching coordinator in 1996-1997.
Romanick became the A's bullpen coach in 2008. As a minor league instructor for the A's in 2006, Romanick switched Brad Ziegler from a traditional overhand thrower to the sidearm throwing motion.
