Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Roger Alexander was sent by the Milwaukee Brewers to the Atlanta Braves on December 2, 1974 to complete the trade that sent then-home run record holder Hank Aaron to the Brewers for Dave May and a player to be named on November 2, 1974. In 1974, Alexander had led the Texas League with 130 runs allowed and 105 earned runs, en route to a 9-13 6.43 ERA season. He never reached the major leagues, pitching in the Braves system until 1979. His best season came in 1978 when he was a combined 15-12, 2,42 in 28 starts between the AA Savannah Braves and AAA Richmond Braves.
