Biographical Information[edit]

Robinson Fabian pitched in the minor leagues from 2005 to 2010, never playing above High A. He played in the Colorado Rockies system until July 31, 2009, when he was traded to the Washington Nationals with pitcher Ryan Mattheus for reliever Joe Beimel. He remained in the Nationals system through 2010. Overall, Fabian went 17-28 with a 5.28 ERA in 98 games (62 starts) over six seasons. In 373 1/3 innings, he allowed 434 hits and 131 walks, while striking out 282 batters. Perhaps his best campaign was 2007, when he went 4-6 with a 3.96 mark in 15 starts for the Tri-City Dust Devils.
