Rob Herrmann has caught in the independent leagues and in Germany.

Herrmann hit .366/.446/.408 for the 2011 Las Cruces Vaqueros, finishing in the top 10 in the Pecos League in average. He had a whopping 32 passed balls in 58 games. In 2012, he batted .260/.347/.377 for the Trinidad Triggers. He signed with Germany's Paderborn Untouchables for 2013. In the 2013 European Cup, he was 6 for 18 with a double, walk, 3 runs and 3 RBI.
