Biographical Information

Pitcher Rigoberto Garcia began his professional career in 2011 at 17 years old.

He was signed by the Seattle Mariners on July 13, 2010. He began his professional career with a 0-5 record and 4.01 ERA in nine starts for the DSL Mariners in 2011 and things wouldn't get much better in the subsequent seasons. With the Pulaski Mariners in 2012, his ERA was 5.37 in 13 starts. In 2013, he went 6-5 with a 4.16 ERA in 15 games (13 starts) between the Everett AquaSox (4-0, 2.22 ERA) and Clinton Lumberkings (2-5, 5.23 ERA). Between Pulaski (0-2, 14.02 ERA), Everett (0-2, 8.25 ERA) and Clinton (0-1, 81.00) in 2014, Garcia went 0-5 with a 13.20 ERA in 15 games (7 starts). The Mariners released him in April 2015.
