Rigoberto Catuy was 2 for 6 with two home runs, four runs and three RBI for the 2006 DSL Yankees 1 and had one assist in right field. Despite the 1.333 slugging percentage in (very) limited time, he would not play again in the minors. He hit four triples to lead the Panamanian league in 2012. He was a bench player for the Panamanian national team that won the Silver Medal in the 2017 Bolivarian Games, going 0 for 1 and getting plunked once. In the 2017 Central American Games, he played somewhat more, going 3 for 6 with 3 walks, a hit-by-pitch, two runs and three RBI but he again sat out the Gold Medal Game as Panama won a Silver; he had all 3 RBI against Honduras.
