Biographical Information

Richard Aguilera is a pitcher for the La Habana Cowboys. Aguilera debuted in 2007-2008 by going 0-1 with a save and a 5.90 ERA in 20 games. In 2008-2009, the right-hander went 2-3 with a 10.04 ERA in 15 games, allowing a .361 average and walking 22 in 26 innings for the league champs.

Aguilera improved significantly his third year, going 7-2 with a 3.53 ERA in 2009-2010 with only 15 walks in 74 innings. He threw two shutouts to tie Maikel Folch, Vladimir Baños and Osmel Cintra for the Cuban Serie Nacional lead.
