Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Rich Rodas played ten games in the majors with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Signed by the Dodgers in 1979, Rodas made his pro debut that summer with the Lethbridge Dodgers, going 12-0 with a 1.12 ERA and 148 strikeouts in 113 innings to win the Pioneer League Pitching Triple Crown. With the Albuquerque Dukes in 1983, he was 16-4 with a 4.16 ERA and led the Pacific Coast League in wins and strikeouts (157). That earned him a September call-up to Los Angeles, and he posted a 1.93 ERA in 7 relief outings. He made 3 big league appearances the following summer, posting a 5.40 ERA, while spending the remainder of the year with Albuquerque. He pitched in the minors through 1985.
