Biographical Information[edit]
Reynaldo Oliver played in the St. Louis Cardinals system from 1958 to 1962, hitting .292/.362/.395 in five seasons. He batted over .300 twice -- in 1958, when he hit .307 for the Dothan Cardinals and 1959, when he hit .319 for the Winnipeg Goldeyes.
He might be more well-known as an Olympian javelin thrower and decathlete who competed for Puerto Rico in the 1952 Olympics and 1956 Olympics.
