Biographical Information[edit]
Reo Moriyasu has pitched for the Japanese national team a couple times.
In the 2009 Asian Championship, he was named one of the best players in the event though teammate Hisayoshi Chono won the MVP. Japan won the event. [1] In the 2014 Asian Games, he started against Pakistan and allowed four hits and one run in four before Koshiro Imamura relieved. He did not get the decision in Japan's win and Japan wound up with the Bronze Medal. His 8 Ks were second on the staff, one behind Ryota Sekiya. [2] In the industrial leagues, he played for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.
