Reinier León Rodríguez

Reinier León has been an outfielder for Pinar del Rio. He hit .304/.403/.400 as a utility man in 2007-2008, playing both infield and outfield. After that season, his fifth, he had batted .247 in 915 at-bats in the Cuban Serie Nacional. He became Pinar del Rio's starting center fielder in 2008-2009 and hit .295/.357/.436 while fielding .957. In 2009-2010, the 27-year-old put up a .314/.383/.419 line. He played 770 1/3 innings, third-most of any player in Cuba that season. In 2010-2011, Reinier fell to .273/.371/.409 and fielded just .923 in center field. In game six of the finals, though, he helped the club win its first title in 13 years. Batting 9th, he went 2 for 3 with two runs and a RBI in a 6-1 win. He doubled off Vladimir García, the Ciego de Avila ace, to start the third inning and came around to score Pinar del Rio's first run in their decisive role.
