Biographical Information

First baseman Rebel Ridling was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the 25th round of the 2008 amateur draft and made his pro debut that summer with the Boise Hawks. With the Peoria Chiefs in 2009, he hit .310 with 16 home runs and 97 RBIs, led the Midwest League with 166 hits, and was named a league All-Star.
