Biographical Information[edit]

Rayden Sierra played college ball at Broward College and Cumberland University. He finished his college career on a strong note and was named First Team All-America by the NAIA in 2018. After leaving Cumberland, Sierra spend 2019 playing for the Schaumburg Boomers of the independent Frontier League.

Sierra began his coaching career at Volunteer State Community College during the 2020 season though the season was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic. In 2021 Sierra served as the volunteer assistant coach at Florida SouthWestern State College. His season at FSSC also ended early, but for a very different reason.

In mid-April, 2021 the Minnesota Twins hired Sierra to serve as the assistant hitting coach for the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels. He was then hitting coach for Fort Myers in 2022-2023. After the 2023 season he worked as a hitting coach for the Glendale Desert Dogs in the Arizona Fall League. In 2024 Sierra served as the Twins' minor league assistant hitting coordinator.
