Biographical Information[edit]
Ray Ricker is a former catcher who played college ball at the University of Bridgeport and Albertus Magnus College. He graduated with a degree in communications.
After college, Ricker took an assistant coaching position with Division II Post University in the fall of 2007. In July 2014, Ricker was promoted to head coach and stayed in that role through 2019. During his tenure, he led the Eagles to the most Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference wins in the program's history. In addition, Ricker worked in the collegiate summer leagues for several years.

The Philadelphia Phillies hired Ricker to coach the GCL Phillies West in 2020 before the minor league season was cancelled due to COVID-19. He was a coach for the Reading Fightin Phils in 2023.
