Biographical Information[edit]

Ray Ramirez has been a trainer in the majors.

The Puerto Rico native began his career with the 1983 GCL Mets, then was trainer for the 1984 Little Falls Mets. In 1986, he was trainer for the Orlando Twins. From 1987-1991, he was the trainer for the Oklahoma City 89ers. He was assistant trainer for the Texas Rangers from 1992-2004; he also spent the winters of 1999-2001 as a trainer in the Puerto Rico Winter Baseball League. Ramirez was hired as head trainer for the New York Mets in November 2004 and still holds that role as of 2010.
