Biographical Information

Pitcher Ray Diener played three seasons in the Cincinnati Reds' farm system from 1962 to 1964. In 1963 he appeared in spring training as a non-roster invitee. After his baseball days ended, he became a businessman. He was murdered outside his home at age 65 in 2007 after a confrontation with a group of attempted robbers.
