Biographical Information

Raul Gonzalez pitched in the Atlanta Braves chain. In 2005, he was 0-2 with a 3.06 ERA in six games for the 2005 GCL Braves, walking only 3 in 17 2/3 IP. With the same team in 2006, he allowed two unearned runs in three frames. The skinny righty split 2007 between the GCL Braves (1-0, 9.75 in 5 G) and Danville Braves (3-1, 3.80 in 10 G). He allowed 12 hits, 4 walks and 9 runs in 6 1/3 IP for the 2008 Rome Braves. He helped the Panamanian national team to a Gold Medal in the 2009 Bolivarian Games.
